Our Story

A study in restraint

SIRAN was founded in 2018 in a single-room atelier, with one rail of samples and one rule: nothing unnecessary. What began as a small run of bias-cut silk dresses for friends became a house built around the idea that a woman's wardrobe should feel inevitable rather than assembled.

We design in monochrome by choice. Without colour, everything else has to be right: the fall of a hem, the weight of a wool, the exact place a shoulder seam sits. Our patterns are cut in-house and tested on real bodies in motion before a garment is ever put into production.

Collections are released twice a year in small quantities, made by long-standing partner ateliers in Europe using natural fibres: silk, wool, cotton and linen. We would rather make less and mean it.

“Elegance is what remains once you stop trying to be seen. I design for the woman who has already decided who she is.”
